Why did you become a personal trainer?

I took a kinesiology class in community college and fell in love with how the human body moves. I was working out at the time myself and wanted to help other people achieve their goals physically. Started training some friends and after I got my certification and did a few internships it really kicked off and I started to see that I really enjoy going above and beyond to help people live as healthy as they can.

What are your favorite things about being a personal trainer?

I love when my client realizes their own successes. It’s great to point it out but when they come in or even when I interact with them online and they tell me how they were able to keep up with their kids or they feel like they have so much more energy. Maybe they say wow I looked in the mirror today and was really blown away by how I looked. That makes me feel really accomplished.

If you could train one celebrity, who would it be and why?

Jeremy Renner. He just seems like a really down to earth guy and I think he’s really badass as Hawkeye in the Avengers.
