About Sean A


Hello everyone! My name is Sean Amoah. I was born and raised in Alexandria, VA but my family originates from Ghana. Fitness has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. My love for it grew through my passion for martial arts and combat sports.

I went to George Mason University and earned a bachelors of science in Kinesiology and decided to mix my education with my innate desire to help people. Personal training quickly became near and dear to me because of the overwhelming joy experienced from helping clients reach their goals no matter how big or small.

I started my career through my college internships in physical therapy and big box gyms. From those experiences I have led group classes, group training, one on one training, and much more. All of those experiences have heavily equipped me with the skills I now use with my clients today.

I specialized in general fitness and combat sports specific training and can cater to a variety of demographics ranging from grade schoolers to seniors. If you have a goal, I will do everything I can to help you create a plan to reach and maintain it!

Typical Training Session

Every session will start with a relevant dynamic warm up to prepare you for the work ahead. Alongside that I like to use this time to debrief and see how you’re truly doing because your mental matters to me. After that we move on to the plan for the day which is relevant to client goals of strength, endurance, weight loss, etc. Lastly I try to finish off every session with quality stretching to promote flexibility and muscle health. In that time we also discuss future workouts and plans going forward for you fitness journey if necessary
