Editorial Policy

How RightFit writes, reviews, updates and corrects its guides.

Who writes our guides

Our guides are written by the RightFit Editorial Team, with contributions from RightFit's founder, Matthew Kornblatt. Every guide names its author, and each author has a page listing their guides.

Who reviews them

Guides are reviewed by RightFit trainers with verified certifications. When a trainer has reviewed a guide, they are named in its byline with a link to their profile.

Where our numbers come from

Rates, trainer counts, certifications and specialties come from published RightFit trainer profiles, as the trainers list them. Medians are computed from the trainers that list a rate. Directory data refreshes nightly, and every page that shows data carries an as-of or Updated date.

Reviews

Reviews come from clients. Reviews imported from our previous website are labeled as such. Reviews without a verifiable author or date are still shown, but they are not marked up for search engines.

How often we update

We review every guide at least once a year. Directory data (trainers, rates and counts) updates nightly.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake, email contact@rfptllc.com and we will look into it. Trainers can dispute or update their listing through the trainer portal.

How RightFit makes money

RightFit earns money when clients buy training sessions through its fitness consultants. Matching is free to clients. Trainers do not pay to be listed on RightFit or to be ranked higher.
