Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
As a fitness enthusiast, I have participated heavily in November Project workouts in Seattle, Baltimore and DC. I have a very strong swimming background as a competitive swimmer. Other sports that I feel very confident in include running, lacrosse, weightlifting, surfing, stand up paddlebaording and pretty much any other board sport. Basically, I love to play outside and take the opportunity to learn as many sports as possible. I also know the proper technique for deadlifting, front squat, back squat, strict press and bench press.
A few stand out athletic challenges that I’ve completed are:
– The four-state challenge which consists of running and hiking 43 miles along the Appalachian trail in one day
– The One Day Hike (100k) from Georgetown to Harpers Ferry
– 50 mile ultra run and several 50k ultra runs
– Half Ironman
– Biking from Seattle to San Diego (over 2,200 miles)
As far as group fitness goes, I have personally organized and led group workouts that include prehab, balance challenges, mobility, cardio, running and functional strength training.
I am aspiring to get certified as a personal trainer.

Start with listening to how they are and what’s bothering them physically. Doing some warm up exercises and then moving into progressing them with strength training, balance, etc. And if appropriate, we would add some fun balance challenges into the mix as well.
I haven’t had any clients yet. But I do have personal success stories helping myself recover from injuries and nutritional issues to ultimately pursue my own athletic goals.
