Artemis (RYT 200) began her exploration with yoga over a decade ago, but it wasn’t until 2012 when she developed a personal relationship with her yoga practice and in 2014 she began teaching. After completing her teacher’s certification at The Yoga Institute in Houston, she went on to obtain a Personal Trainers certification, Reiki and Acupressure certifications and is also pursuing an education in Complementary Alternative Medicine. This ongoing process of learning is what provides the fresh insights that inspire her teaching. Healthy breathing, alignment, and balanced energy flow are consistent points of focus in her classes and in everyday life. As a Yoga Therapist, her practice focuses on ailment and injury specific healing. These are private sessions where her clients learn how to heal themselves holistically through specially crafted routines and Ayurvedic medicine targeted to relieve or alleviate their symptoms without the use of over the counter or prescription drugs. She also teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, and Kundalini styles of yoga in private lessons or group classes. Her teaching style is intuitive and nourishes the hidden strengths of her students while challenging them to reach beyond their perceived limitations. You will leave her classes feeling enlivened and renewed. She provides her clients the ability to develop and maintain a holistic lifestyle for mind, body, and soul, “Generating The Divine Within”.
