Why did you become a personal trainer?

Working as a respiratory therapist in the emergency room and Trauma Center, my patients were already in dire trouble when I got ahold of them. I find health and fitness to be the ultimate in preventive medicine it changed my life and I want everyone else to feel that, too!

What are your favorite things about being a personal trainer?

My clients and their individual goals. Waking up every morning and doing something that I’m passionate about. The challenge of different personalities and trying to instill discipline. The opportunity to teach something life changing and wonderful.

If you could train one celebrity, who would it be and why? 

Christopher Walken. He’s already a great dancer and in good shape for a senior. But mainly because he’s Christopher Walken!

Proper guidance allows for efficiency and will prevent a person from spinning their wheels in pursuit of their goals. Lack of progress almost always leads to discouragement and this can be avoided with a good trainer

What are your hobbies? 

Cooking, travel and foreign languages. (I speak 4)

Any guilty pleasures? 

Cabernet and cheesy 80s music.
