About Thomas Tyndall

My name is Thomas Tyndall. I have been an athlete for most of my life, playing competitive tennis at the state and national levels until I joined the military when I was 19. During my time in the military, I grew to love weight lifting and bodybuilding. When I finished my enlistment, I became a competitive powerlifter. Now, my main focus has been on being an all around athlete, focusing on calisthenics, swimming, running, weight training and functional fitness. Recently, I’ve competed in 5k runs, half marathons, triathlons and have done personal challenges such as rowing a marathon on a rowing machine, David Goggins 4x4x48 challenge and 500 pull ups in under 2 hours. I’m currently prepping to compete in my first bodybuilding show for the summer of 2022.

Training Philosophy
I believe challenging your body to push the limits builds self-discipline, confidence and self-awareness that can be put into all aspects of every day life.

Typical Training Session

Typically, I like to hear what the clients goals are first. From there, I develop a plan to reach those goals by making small milestones that will lead to the end result of their goal, and to make it a lifestyle habit to continue for the rest of their life, not just for a period of time. If the client wanted to compete in a race, I would design a plan to prep for that race. If the client was looking to be healthier and make every day living easier, I would build a plan that would accomplish that. I want the client to achieve their goals and, hopefully, see that they can achieve more than they could have ever imagined.

Client success story

I’ve helped many clients shed pounds, build muscle, and become stronger. One client that sticks out to me was a woman named Amy. She wanted to lose a lot of weight and cut off the fat. Through working in my group sessions over a years time and guiding her with her eating, nutrient intake and calories, she lost 45lbs in 1 year.

Hobbies
My favorite hobby is hanging out with my daughter and taking her for hikes and adventures. I set up group workouts with my friends out at local school's track and fields to have some intense, fun group workouts.
