About Brooke Hagedorn

My name is Brooke, I’m 26 and from the Florida Panhandle but currently living in El Paso, Texas. I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and working towards a major in Kinesiology from the University of Texas El Paso. Fitness, nutrition and building a healthy lifestyle have been interests of mine since I graduated high school. At that time, I began teaching Yoga, Zumba and Group Training classes such as HIIT, bootcamp and barre. After a few years of that, I moved from Florida to Germany where I was able to meet a lot of really cool people and personal trainers who continuously inspired me. I began to focus a lot more on nutrition and the mental health aspects of fitness. The more I learned, the more excited I was to share my knowledge. So I knew I wanted to become a Personal Trainer and I am very happy that I made that decision. it has been one of the most exciting and rewarding times in my life. I plan to continue training until I one day receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy! My ultimate goal is to open a fitness center for training and therapy services and to continue helping people become the best versions of themselves.

Training Philosophy
Have an open mindset. Never be opposed to learning new things and switching up your style. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to training. It should be challenging, yes.. but it should also be fun and enjoyable. Get out of your comfort zone!

Typical Training Session

My style of training is a style that is constantly changing week to week so that you never feel like you’re always doing the same thing. I like to include the “tried and true” basics but I will always mix in new exercises to keep it fun!Implementing functional exercises into workouts is something that I love to do because it improves movement patterns, coordination, mobility and can burn more calories! Basically, I include a little bit of everything into my training from simple movements, to dynamic CrossFit-style lifts, yoga poses or even hiking with clients. The possibilities are endless!

Client success story

A client of mine who I will always be beyond proud of is a lady I trained when I lived in Florida. She is a mother of two and really wanted help to lose 50+ pounds. I would see her 5x a week and she would absolutely kill it in the gym, but she wasn’t losing the weight. We sat down and talked about her lifestyle outside of the gym. With some tweaks to her diet and building a better relationship with food, the weight started falling off pretty much instantly. She would send me pictures of her eating her meal prepped food that she brought with her to Chick-Fil-A while all of her friends were eating the fast food and I thought that was incredible! It was really amazing to see her dedication and to watch her confidence grow through the roof!

Hobbies
When I’m not in the gym, I enjoy hiking, getting tattoos, and traveling around the world. I also love canvas painting, cooking new recipes and spending way too much money online shopping.
