About Annalise Kurowski
Hello and welcome to Annalise Marie Personal Training!
I am a full time student pursuing a degree in Exercise Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am an active volunteer at Rush Hospital in their Motion Analysis Laboratory where we do extensive exploratory research in the sports medicine field. As a life long athlete, who played numerous sports from kindergarten throughout high school, I have been pursuing an interest in bodybuilding where I hold a national qualification. Although, I am new to formal one-on-one personal training, I have trained friends, family and coworkers for three years. Throughout my academic career, I have taken an interest in alternative/integrative medicine. I believe that most individuals ship over exercise as a prescription for optimal health and disease management. I am looking for clients that want utilize exercise to connect with their body and mind to create a healthier being. My clients are encouraged to listen to their bodies and only do what feels GOOD. Exercise should be YOU time where you praise your body for what it can do. As your trainer, I can help you learn movements that can strengthen the body, lose excess body fat, and achieve optimal health. Although looking good is a bonus, I want my clients to feel more capable and vibrant. Exercise should enhance the lifestyle not hinder it. No matter what type of schedule my clients have, I want exercise to be a time they look forward to. Even if you have never enjoyed exercise before, I can promise that I will change your mind.

Typical Training Session
A client can expect to be put to the test when meeting with me. I want to challenge my clients based on their OWN ability and encourage them to give every session their all. I ask that my clients give me their 100% every session. That being said, if a client only has 40% left in their tank from a long week of work and responsibilities, I want them to give me 100% of that 40%. I can guarantee that if my clients dedicate themselves to me during our sessions then they will receive amazing results.
In a typical training session, my clients will always start with a dynamic warm up to avoid any risk of injury. In this warm up, we will also address any areas of stress physically and/or mentally. Each session will last 60 minutes and my clients will not stop moving from the moment they walk in the door until they are done with their session. I want my clients to get worth out of every minute and every penny spent.
