About Wil Z

I’ve been a personal trainer since 2004. I love helping my clients get stronger, fitter and healthier. I also love what I do because it helps me stay healthy and fit as well. I start by setting a good example. I’ve trained in a gym setting for most of my career with some in home training on the side. Last year (by force) I really discovered, along with my clients, what we can accomplish at an in home setting with minimal equipment and some creativity. Since then I’ve decided in home is where I can best help most of my clients since it also allows me a more intimate view into their eating habits and how I can help them improve that area of there life to best compliment their training.

Training Philosophy
Work hard so you can play hard. (Get more from your workouts in less time using circuit and HIIT training so you can spend more leisure time enjoying life)

Training Professionally Since
April 4, 2004

Typical Training Session

An efficient training session usually consisting of circuit training and/or HIIT training to better utilize our time together. It combines the benefits of aerobic training with strength training in a single workout in much less time than the traditional lifting weights followed by cardio. In addition we will talk about nutrition and how to improve or target your nutrition towards your fitness goals.
Goals should be Specific(well defined, clear and unambiguous) – Measurable(having the ability to quantify progress) – Achievable(challenging but possible to reach) – Realistic(practical and functional) – Timely(have a clearly defined timeline and deadline)

Client success story

I have many client success stories. Success depends on the individual goals. I have two clients that lost over a hundred pounds. I have clients that have reached single digit body fat levels (even below 6%). I have clients that are still with me over 10 years making regular exercise and healthy eating a part of their lifestyle. I have students that never planned on it that have gone on to division 1 and 2 collegiate athletics.

Hobbies
Swimming, reading a good sci-fi/fantasy novel, spending time with my family, BBQing
