Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
Hi! My name is Sanders Crawford IV, and I am fresh out of college. I just completed my B.S. in Kinesiology last December and am fully prepared to use all the knowledge that I have learned over the past 4 years, and from personal to experience, to get you into the best shape or make you into the best athlete you can be! As for my fitness background, I started working out seriously at the age of about 11 and fell in love with it ever since. I started working out for the sole purpose of football and track (my respective sports at the time), but found myself enjoying the training aspect more than the actual game at certain points, at this point, I knew what I wanted to do with my life! I played college football at Stephen F. Austin, then transferred to Western New Mexico University to finish out my final two years. I did a year of personal training at Athletic Connection in Katy, TX, and just finished a year long internship as a Assistant Athletic Trainer in Western New Mexico. I look forward to furthering my knowledge in all areas of athletic training, as I’m going to be pursuing my MBA, and want to open my own gym one day.

Depending on clients goals, we will start with different mobility exercises and warm up. From there, we will get to work with whatever the specialized workout is for the client that day. For example if you’re an athlete, we may start with plyometrics work then move to the weight room and continue on to olympic weightlifting exercises paired with max effort/intensity exercises to really hammer the explosive and strength portions respective to the clients sport. If you’re trying to bodybuild, this could something like trying to incorporate Pre-muscle exhaustion before moving on to a compound lift (Leg extension to Back Squat for example) so we maximize hypertrophy. The list goes on and on, but we will work together to figure out what plan works the most.
I’ve always wanted to try out personal training, so I figured I would use one my friends who always said they wanted to get bigger, as a test subject sort of. He never lifted a day in his life, and really wanted to put on weight. We made a basic plan, nothing to easy or to hard, and we simply got to it. I emphasized to him that even with all the work he does in the weight room, he must put the same amount of effort into the kitchen/diet. Within 3 months, we saw his bench go up 30 Lbs, deadlift up 70 Lbs, squat up 40 lbs Incline bench 20 lbs, and Overhead press 15 lbs. He went from 140 lbs to 154, 14 lbs in 3 months! The work is there, you just have to want it!
