Every 60-minute session is structured, purposeful, and tailored to your energy levels and goals on that day. Here is what a typical session looks like:
– Warm-Up (5–10 mins): Dynamic mobility work and movement preparation targeted to the workout ahead and your individual body needs.
– Main Strength / Movement Block (35–40 mins): Focused execution of core exercises (push, pull, hinge, squat) with strict attention to form, proper rest intervals, and appropriate progression.
– Conditioning or Core Finisher (5–10 mins): A fun, targeted push to boost cardiovascular endurance or core stability.
– Cool Down & Check-In (5 mins): Light stretching, breathing work, and a discussion on recovery, nutrition, or your goals for the upcoming week.
One of my favorite coaching wins was working with a 12-year-old soccer player who came to me after getting cut from her local traveling team. She had tons of heart and natural speed, but she struggled with technical ball control under pressure and basic footwork mechanics, which left her feeling overwhelmed during tryouts. Over a 12-week off-season, we went straight to work on her foundation. We cleaned up her change-of-direction mechanics, drilled heavy footwork and ball mastery with both feet, and eventually shifted into fast-paced reactive drills so she could make quick decisions under fatigue. By the time tryouts rolled around, her confidence and control were night and day. Not only did she make the traveling roster, but her head coach named her a starting midfielder for the season opener. Watching her build that kind of confidence and turn her hard work into a starting spot is exactly why I love doing this.
