About Nick A

In 2012, I began pursuing my passion in athletics and human health and performance. I have competed, coached, and pursued a career path working with athletes at the collegiate level. During my 10 years coaching at the NCAA Division I level, I earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology and founded Paratus Performance

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have been mentored by renowned strength and conditioning coaches, movement experts, and seasoned veterans of the industry. Their expertise, literature, and countless trips back to the drawing board helped build the philosophy and belief system that guides my coaching today. Forever a student of my craft, I am always looking to strengthen and question my understanding of human movement and physical health so that I can refine and prepare my athletes for whatever challenges they pursue.

I have helped athletes increase their overall performance, get stronger, and overcome injuries. I can adapt your program to fit your needs in this season of life and beyond.

Client #1 (25, F) just finished competing in her first powerlifting competition where she set PR’s in her Squat, Bench, and Deadlift – averaging an additional 15lbs compared to her prior bests.

Client #2 (48, M) ran in the Chicago Marathon and two weeks later, the New York City Marathon. He ran sub-2:50 in both of them and commented how much stronger and more powerful he felt running and how his recovery was so much better than it had been in years past.
