No matter what the goals are, our sessions will always focus on proper form to prevent injury and maximize muscle stimulus and growth. I will set up clients for success when working out on their own time. Full body work will usually be featured in a session for general fitness but personalized work for strength and hypertrophy can be dialed in for specific goals.
In the obese II range of the BMI scale, client L, couldn’t go up a flight of stairs without becoming winded. Wanting to be able to keep up with their kids and be around for them when they got older, they decided to train and lose weight for general health. With a holistic approach to food and fitness, the client was able to lose over 50 lbs, decreasing body fat and increasing lean muscle mass. L was also able to do more strenuous bouts of cardio for longer periods of time and no longer be winded going up the stairs. Overall health was improved and the client has been overjoyed with the results.
