About Laura Lusson

Laura is passionate about people and drawn to yoga for its many benefits, including balance, perspective, contentment and strength. In 2009 she discovered hot yoga, which she found challenging and cleansing. A few years later, she stepped into a vinyasa studio and instantly felt at home. She was inspired to pursue yoga teacher training by her life’s lessons, her music and dance background, a quest to heal, and a strong desire to help others. Laura practices with others in hopes she can help them look inward, find peace, and shine brightly.

Training Philosophy
My role is to lead you in a way that creates space to tap into your own energies, senses, experiences, and potential for challenge, growth and peace. Each person is unique. Every practice is different. Yoga honors this and meets you where you are today.

Training Professionally Since
September 1, 2017

Typical Training Session

Movement and stillness in support of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual exploration. Work centered around breath awareness (foundational to yoga and life), alignment, core strength (Pilates-inspired), stability, balance, expansion and contraction, activation and relaxation. We’ll get curious about how the mind and body respond to each other and how we can create more space, ease and lightness in our yoga practice and daily living.

Client success story

My students tell me they appreciate my friendly approach (“do what works in your body” – “no MUSTS”), my soothing voice (their words, not mine), music that awakens the senses, and the general care I show for people in our time together. For me, yoga at its deepest core is about connection to self, others and the universe. Each practice is an opportunity for growth — to leave your mat different from how you came to it.
