Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
Hi, my name is Katie! I’m a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach based in Denver, CO. I fell in love with movement from an early age. Growing up, I competed in soccer, basketball, and gymnastics before going on to run D1 cross country and track & field at the University of Vermont. I received my B.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics and later my M.S. in Physical Activity and Wellness. After college, I got into strength-training as a way to heal my body from injury and challenge myself to become the strongest version of ME. For the past 4 years, I have been helping clients of all ages and abilities transform their health and their bodies and unlock their own inner athlete. I would be honored to be a part of your fitness journey. Let’s work together!

A typical training session will depend on the client’s goals, needs, and skill level. Most sessions will begin with a proper warm-up and corrective/mobility exercises to get the body moving well and address any injuries or areas of weakness/imbalance. After that, a session might include a circuit for those looking to build muscular/cardiovascular endurance, plyometrics for those wanting to enhance speed and power, or strength work using different techniques. To close out the session, we’ll finish off with a cool down and stretching & mobility work as needed.
I had a client in her 70’s who decided she wanted to complete the Camino de Santiago – a 500 mile hike/pilgrimage across Spain. We worked together to build up her lower body strength and endurance. We also modified exercises to better simulate what she would encounter while hiking on the trail (such as by adding a 25 lb weighted vest to her workouts to mimic the pack she would have to carry during the trip). She successfully completed the 500 mile journey in under 4 weeks while feeling strong and healthy!
