About Jaime M


My name is Jaime, and I’ve been an NSCA certified personal trainer since 2017, though I have been lifting and working out since my high school basketball days. Though I train people of all ages, sizes, genders, and abilities, I specialize in women’s strength training(pre and post-natal) and post-rehab return-to-exercise programs, including special population training and older adult fitness. I am dedicated to constant improvement and learning, and I will provide you with a comprehensive program that will meet you where you’re at and help you reach your goals. We all lead busy lives and I understand how valuable free time can be; let me help you get the most out of it. Regardless of whether you need a place to train, have a gym in your home or apartment, or prefer to do virtual sessions, I’m here for whatever you need.

Training Philosophy
I believe in improving mobility, stability, and balance while increasing muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. I believe in tailoring workouts to people's needs, wants, and goals. And I believe burpees are a useless exercise.

Training Professionally Since

Typical Training Session

Barring any limitations, a typical workout with a general population client will look like this:

5-10 min – Dynamic warm-up
5-10 min – Power/Skill Development
20 min – Strength
15 min – Functional training (exercises that help you live your daily life better and pain free)
5 min – Metabolic Conditioning (high intensity work with little to no rest)
5 min – Recovery Cool down


Client success story

Kelly is 38 years old with 3 kids and came to me with the primary goal of getting stronger and hopefully losing body fat in the process. She came from a sedentary lifestyle and perhaps not the most excellent food choices. We discussed nutrition, training frequency in and out of the gym, and the commitment needed to make it all work. Three years in and Kelly has lost 80lbs and is maintaining her weight while still continuing to get stronger and be a wonderful mom to her three children. She consistently hikes, skis, bikes, walks to the gym, and does meal prep to make the nutrition portion easy. Kelly worked the system and dedicated the time to herself, and she is happier than she’s ever been!


Hobbies
Lifting weights, hiking, skiing, traveling, reading (let's talk books while we train!), and though I'm not very good at it, I really enjoy indoor rock climbing!
