About Ellie Heifitz


Ellie is a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer with a degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has been an athlete her whole life and a passion of hers is to help encourage, motivate, and teach clients to make fitness part of their everyday life. She specializes in strength training, fat loss, circuit/interval training, toning, and can help with nutrition as well. She is passionate about helping her clients be the best they can be by creating individualized exercise programs and nutritional plans to help reach their goal. She will be there through every step of her clients journey and really helps and believes in finding the perfect balance between lifestyle and fitness. Ellie works with all age clients and is currently accepting new ones.

Training Philosophy
80% Diet, 20% Fitness, 100% Feel Good. A lot of people don't realize how big a part diet plays. I believe by showing and teaching people that the most important step is to find the perfect balance between fitness and health.

Typical Training Session

A client will expect a full hour of work. We start with a 5-10 minute warm up, which then goes into training. Depending on the clients goals it is different. But for majority of the people I will do a circuit training type workout. I will show 3-5 exercises, for example one exercise would be a cardio move, one exercise would be a lower body, one would be an upper body, and then a core exercise. That way they are getting the most out of that hour and hitting as many muscles as they can. This is also the best way to burn the most calories as well.


Client success story

My first client, who I will have seen for about a year now is at her lowest weight and has looked the best she has ever looked. When I train her I can see how much happier she is and so much stronger than from when we first started. It makes me so happy seeing how happy she is and how well she has done in the past year.
