About Becky Shaughnessy
Hello! I’m Becky and have been an NASM certified Personal Trainer since 2019. I decided to get into personal training because at one point I was very out of shape and had no clue about working out and nutrition. After years of training with a range of personal trainers and working in the fitness industry for over 10 years (on the marketing side), I became hooked on fitness. Now I love helping clients on their fitness journey because I was in theirs shoes once too and I know what it takes to get those results. I’m passionate about building up the confidence to not only be more comfortable with heavy dumbbells but to be confident in their own skin.

Typical Training Session
I like to begin my sessions with a warm up to get the blood flowing, followed by resistance training/interval training followed by a cool down and stretching. I also love to incorporate mobility work.
Client success story
A client came to me only a few months out from her wedding day. She could not zip her dress up (every woman’s nightmare). After a few months of putting in the work with me, she was able to lose 15lbs and her dress easily zipped back up (with some room) on her big day!
Hobbies
Along with fitness, I'm also super passionate about art and design. I love to draw and be creative. I also love traveling, being outdoors, enjoying a good glass of wine, and love dogs!
