Train out of your home – The trainer comes to you.
Hello my name is Alex Saenz, I have been a trainer for 10 years now. My wife and I grew up in Midland tx but moved to Austin because we fell in love with the area and the culture, and this is where we want to raise our little guy. Over the years my focuses have shifted from bodybuilding to sports training into CrossFit. Over all the growth I’ve always wanted to “teach” I strive to show my clients proper for and technique as well as why they are doing any workout. I believe in overall growth so that is how I coach, I want my clients to understand their Body, nutrition and training, I teach so that they can become self sufficient in the gym and have confidence to attack a workout without me being around. So if you are someone who wants to learn and grow and sees fitness as a long term lifestyle I’d love to add some knowledge to your life and help you along your journey. I look forward to speaking with you.

A typical day will always start with conversation. I always want to know how your feeling physically and mentally. This allows me to make any changes to the workouts so that I can better serve you, we have to listen to our bodies.
A breakdown would start with a primer warm up something to get your blood flowing as well as prime and awaken the muscles we would be siring that day.
Then into a strength movement usually with a tempo. Tempos are great because the extra time under tension helps our body to develop mind muscle connections as well as improve your technique.
We would continue into some super or monster sets just depending on the clients training age and or goals.
Finally usually finish off with some conditioning consisting of mixed modalities. Example,
10 min grind
5 box jump
10 Russian kB swing
10 tuck up/sit up
20 sec pike/plank
Continue at steady pace trying not to take big breaks.
I have a few but one that sticks with me the most
Her name was Mandy 40 years she had a gastric bypass could only eat 1 cup of food every meal she had 4 strokes and was NOT supposed to be working out per her doctor.
When she started she could not get up from the ground without assistance period. We took baby steps to getting her to develop single side strength and balance, she is now doing CrossFit in Midland. This one made me very happy because I strive to improve people’s quality of life and I feel I was able to help.
