About Janet Rogers


I create workouts for my clients that meet them at their level, while constantly challenging them to become stronger and meet their fitness goals. I excel at teaching proper form and my workouts are never boring!
When I was fifty, I weighed 200 pounds, and decided something had to change! I started doing CrossFit and went on to compete in the CrossFit International Games in 2015, where I placed sixth in my age group. I discovered that the power and courage I gained through becoming fit and strong carried out into every aspect of my life, and I’m determined to ignite that power in everyone that I work with.
I am also a chiropractor, which makes me uniquely suited to creating safe training programs for people with arthritis, poor posture, and disc conditions. I also offer dietary and nutritional support, and vitamin/supplement protocols. I’ve worked extensively with men and women aged 18 – 95.

Typical Training Session

I tailor each workout to your specific goals – no cookie cutter workouts here! I progress your program over time by incorporating more complex and advanced movements to continually challenge your muscles in different ways. I will touch base with you on nutrition, because you cannot out train a bad diet!
Each session starts with some cardio and movement prep that is specific to that day’s program. We then do some strength and resistance training utilizing full functional body movements. Each session typically ends with a 10-15 minute metabolic conditioning set to improve cardiovascular conditioning and burn fat. We finish with a 5 minute stretch/cooldown.

Taylor, an actress in her 20s sent me new resume photos she had taken for fitness modeling work. She said she had gotten 3 auditions and 2 callbacks that week with “this new body you helped me build!”
Cynthia, 67 years old, had always had trouble being short of breath with any exertion. After training with me for 6 months, she went on a trip to San Francisco, and reported that she hardly got out of breath at all walking the hills!
Maddy was getting married in six months. Since her wedding gown was backless, she wanted her back to look really toned. I wish I could post the before and after pics here!
