I started personal training in 2019. After being a classroom teacher, I realized I could take my passion for fitness, and teach people how to exercise and love doing it. I fell in love with guiding people through transformations of mindset, skillset, and physical fitness. I enjoyed training high intensity classes at Burn Boot Camp as my start in training. From there, I decided to challenge myself with more one-on-one clientele, nutrition coaching, and creating my own personal group fitness style by becoming the Fitness Coordinator and Lead Trainer at a Recreation Center. There I taught 15 classes a week — comprised of Strength and Conditioning in interval circuits, small group Strength Training in the weight room, and Mat Pilates. Simultaneously, I maintained a full one-on-one client schedule. I was able to assess these clients and meet their specific fitness and wellness goals — through personal training and nutrition coaching. I aim to help clients learn to love caring for their body and mind through a fun, informative, and personalized training experience. In addition to Personal Training, I have gained certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, Virtual Coaching Specialist, Nutrition Coach, and Pilates Instructor.
Hourly rate: $90
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required

I love motivating people to do what they need to do! We start with a warmup focused on your training goals for the day, and your activity before entering the session. From there I guide you through exercises that meet your needs, demonstrating and clarifying technique, as needed. We wrap up with a brief cool down, discussing how we can take the next steps to further your progress outside of our sessions.
A diabetic client came to me needing to get active and lose weight for health reasons, having never worked out in her adult life. She started with my group fitness classes, and quickly felt at home. Within a month, she became a one-on-one client, and in addition to attending my classes, we trained 2X a week in-facility for over 2 years. Over this time, she completely transformed her mindset, body composition, and diet. She looked for ways to keep moving, she actualized performance goals that fueled her, and learned to prioritize nutrition and strength gain. She lost over 200lbs, gained muscle, balance, and mobility. She currently trains with me virtually, as extra accountability, and because of the bond we created.
