About Shailee

I am a mountaineer originally from Nepal. I scaled Mt Everest in the year 2008 and then led my team to climb the highest mountain in each continent. My team is the first female group in the world to climb the 7 Summits. I have been a meditation practitioner for 23 years and a trainer for 8 years. I relish bringing together aspects of Himalayan serenity and Eastern wisdom through guided meditation sessions.

Training philosophy

One step at a time, even half a step counts. Small, yet consistent, intentional, fun and determined. That's how you climb the highest mountain in the world. That's how you climb the mountain within.

A typical session

Light warm-up session, Pranayam (breathing exercises) followed by three stages of meditation. I provide personalized programs for people looking for long-term meditation practice.

Client success story

My clients include C-suite executives to young students. There are several approaches to meditation. Some are looking for stress management, others are in search of inner guidance while some may be trying to recover from a tragedy. I design sessions to support the clients in their unique journeys. ‘I was in a protest and suddenly I was aware of all my emotions in a way I had never been before. I thank my meditation sessions with Shailee for that.’ JJ, NYC “I had a miscarriage during the pandemic. I was still crying rivers after weeks. I had known Shailee for years but we never talked about meditation. This time she asked me for an online session. It was the best decision. Every day she took me to the happiest place within me. That helped my recovery. And now I have a three-year-old daughter. I am grateful to Shailee beyond words.” Doma, Nepal
