About Becka Swanson


My Experience
I am so excited to share my journey and some of the amazing lessons I have learned about nutrition, wellness and fitness.

After years of eating a typical western diet I started to see and feel the negative effects on my body. Even as a seasoned personal trainer spending hours in the gym with my clients and doing my own exercise I was not seeing the results that I wanted. My body was showing the side effects of an unbalanced diet.

Nutrient deficiencies manifested themselves in:
– Low energy
– Depressed mood
– Weight gain
– Age spots, and wrinkles.
My mind and body were not feeling the youthful energy that equaled my age I knew something had to change.

In my frustration and desire to improve I started studying the relationship between eating wonderful, nutritious foods and the positive effects they have on creating a healthy body from the inside out.

I found out FOOD CAN HEAL, and change ones overall health. I was hooked on how my body began to feel. Great energy, glowing skin, increased athletic performance, and amazing vitality. I realized that if I could feel this good, others could as well. So I began a new journey and and excited to share with you what I have learned through the years.

My Mission
My mission is to enhance the quality of individual lives through proper nutrition, healthy exercise, and empower a feel great lifestyle with the resources, tips, tools, and inspiration to achieve the health, energy and body we all deserve and desire.

Thus does not just come from an hour each day spent at the gym; it’s what you do the other 23 hours. You are only as healthy as the individual building blocks (cells) that make up our tissues and organs. What we eat, drink, breath and put on our skin or what you lack on eating, drinking, breathing or putting on your skin can affect your health.

My Story
With over 20 years as a fitness professional working with amazing clients and groups, I have helped them to achieve remarkable success through nutrition and exercise. Along those years I also gained knowledge that it’s not just the foods we eat that will keep us healthy, but also is important to maintain a healthy environment in our home to give us optimal health.

I continually to strive toward achieving optimal health I encourage my clients to do the same. I want you to learn how to make a healthy lifestyle and not worry about being on a “diet” or restrict your calories any longer. No matter what your age there is always room to improve. I’m devoted to help show you how to attain the lifestyle towards optimal health, and I’m grateful to share my passion with you on your new healthy journey.

Training Philosophy

Typical Training Session

First session will be going through assessment, goal setting, limitations, injuries and nutrition. I’ll put together a specific nutrition and exercise plan that will help you meet your goal. We will have weekly check in to see what is working, what’s not working and what needs to be adjusted. I work closely with my clients so they are successful in their day to day lifestyle. Each body is different, so that’s why its so important to have open communication to meet the goals at hand.


Client success story

I’ve been training for over 20 years. I have helped clients drop from 5 lbs to over 80 lbs. Help male clients gain muscle and size, helped others compete in sports from coach to 5k to marathons, triathlons, soccer, gymnastics….. if you understand how the body moves you can train it to do just about anything.
My favorite is helping those who have had major illness, digestive issues, allergies and helping them turn their health around so they no longer have to be on medication and enjoy a better quality of life!


Hobbies
Biking, bodybuilding, reading personal development and nutrition books, and spending time with my girls
