About Tyrone G

My name is Tyrone. I Work on Wright-patterson AFB I been working for the military for 20 years now from fitness center to outdoor recreation and I am transition out into the civilian work force. What I did for our military personnel was provide different avenues of fitness. From Water aerobics to hiking. I’ve coached different levels of sports from development to semi-pro in all aspects such as game knowledge, strength and condition, muscle endurance, and sport specific movements. I’ve always been involved some how or some way in fitness and sports. You may ask why so long. Everytime I teach a new basketball move, or trained someone for months to take 1/10 of a sec off their 100m dash. The look on their face or the sound you hear (coach it worked) no matter the age group is the most humbling feeling ever. It’s grounds you and remind you this is why I do this.

Training Philosophy
The 3p's something I developed. Which means push past possible. Anything is possible as the saying goes let's find your possible and push past it. It's all about consistency!

Training Professionally Since
October 1, 2017

Typical Training Session

This definitely depends on client, what’s our target, our goal. Generally speaking, it’s a warm up, exercise, then cool down. This definitely depends on client and what’s our target outcome. Warm up could be dynamic stretching or static stretching. Our workout would be circuit training or do 10×10’s. This really depends on client.

Client success story

Not really success story I mean he ultimately failed but he succeeded if that makes sense. I had a kid right out of high school. He was one of my players older bothers. He heard I drained a couple of kids before join military and ask if I could train him. Long story short we drained for 6 months. Did a bunch of swimming interval training, a lot of muscle endurance training, just a whole bunch of vigorous training. Prepping this kid for the brutality of being a Navy seal. In the end he ended up ringing the bell 2 1/2 weeks in. Although we prepared him for the physical side, we did not prepare him for the mental beat down. He ended up going into the Navy and is now a master chief.

Hobbies
I am a referee during basketball season
