Hi! My name is Gabriella and this is my story.
I grew up as the larger one in the room and struggled with using food for comfort instead of fuel. In 2019 I was at my heaviest, 240lbs, I was uncomfortable laying down and that’s when I knew I needed to change. Initially I starved myself and worked on cardio for 4 hours a day. Once I reached 70lbs down I started to become unhappy with how my weight loss was going. I was losing weight but in some areas I was beginning to look worse than before and I couldn’t fathom why. I stuck to eating 1k calories or less and running on an endless treadmill. Inevitably it happened, I had lost the 100lbs I set out to lose. But alas, I still looked like a bag of milk. I began researching how to ‘tone’ and discovered what a dumbbell was. I began resistance training and not only did I lose 100lbs, but after getting my nutrition in order I then packed on 10lbs lean muscle mass (per DEXA scan) within the following year. After my first year, I ditched the commercial gyms and went private. At the gym I lift at and now train out of, I crossed paths with power lifting. I fell in love with heavy lifting and have found comfort in being a competitive power lifter ever since.
Through my fitness journey, I found it fascinating that through lifting, I was able to sculpt my body in the exact shape I wanted. Something I had previously assumed was only an option through botox and superficial surgeries. Being someone who has always enjoyed helping others, I wanted to spread the word to those who were still struggling.
Training and helping people achieve their goals whether it be strength or their dream physique has brought a light to my life I wasn’t totally anticipating when I first began. I have a particular soft spot for weight loss clients as that’s where my story started. I find this crowd one of the most rewarding to work with as they make the most progress through their fitness journey. I enjoy watching my clients blossom and bloom into the lifters they were meant to be and I’m grateful my testimonial has helped some of my clients preserve on some of their most hesitant days.

I will take you through core stabilization, mobility work, an appropriate warm up, the work load and then static stretching as a cool down.
