About Lukas Rumbyrt

For the past 4 years, Luke has worked with a variety of individuals in several unique environments. In just a short time period he has helped train high school athletes, geriatric men and women, Division 1 athletes, MLB/NFL players, and recently has worked with Amputees and Spinal Cord Injuries. Luke loves teaching and showing people the body’s true capabilities and potential through exercise. He is a strong believer in making exercise fun and building a customized program for each client. From working in several different environments he recognizes that everybody is extremely unique and requires a specialized approach when it comes to training. Not only has he worked in the gym setting, but he has also spent a lot of time in Physical Therapy clinics, and understands the importance of corrective exercise and proper technique. One of Luke’s favorite quotes he lives by and applies to his coaching style is “Everybody is a Somebody.”

Training Philosophy
My goal as a Strength Coach and Personal Trainer is to keep the client safe, have fun, and ensure that we are growing in every aspect of life.

Training Professionally Since
January 1, 2016

Typical Training Session

Safety is my top concern at all times, but with that they should expect to laugh and work hard. Every exercise will be explained in detail and have an exact purpose. If the client does not like the exercise or it is too difficult/painful I can progress or regress almost any exercise. I will do everything in my power to help the client achieve their goals and enjoy the process. We will work hard, but we will enjoy the process as we strive to get to the goal.

Client success story

The best success story that still brings a tear to my eye is the time when I was training a boot-camp class and one of the regular attending elderly ladies walked in crying. She went straight to me and gave me a huge hug sobbing. I was in shock and asked her what was wrong. She said before she had started coming to my class she has not been able to pick up her grandchildren without severe debilitating pain. Over the weekend her grandchild ran to her and she swung him around without even thinking and did it without pain or injury. This is what my purpose is. To help people not only become healthier, but to enjoy life to the fullest at all times. I love teaching and helping anybody I can.
