With an extensive and diverse background of sports and fitness, I bring a fresh perspective to training and exercise. I grew up watching my dad open up his own independent gym from the ground up, learning how to coach and teach by watching him and many other positive fitness and health influences in my life ranging from coaches and trainers, to teachers and supervisors.
I played sports my entire life eventually becoming a two-sport All-conference athlete at Linfield College (now Linfield University) in football and track & field. After graduating, I flew over to Germany to play professional football in the German Football League (GFL). Shortly after returning to the US in 2018, I coached high school and college football and became a certified personal trainer. As a trainer, I have worked both independently and for big box gyms. I want to make fitness and health achievable for everyone, no matter where, why, or with what equipment (or none), I want to help people realize that they can become fit, strong, and healthy as long as they are willing to commit to it.
And NO, that doesn’t mean only eating chicken breast and broccoli and working out 2hrs/day for 7 days/week
I have been training clients for fitness and sports specific training since 2018 with a personal training certification from NASM, a highly recognized certifying organization.
I have worked with clients from all walks of life. I have experience working with youth athletes (8-17yrs) with the goals of playing college sports. I also have experience with individuals with chronic joint and back pain who are trying to live a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.
