About Amber Fernicola
Hi all! I’m Amber. I have been working as a fitness professional for 5 years and before that I was a life long athlete. I work in group settings, private settings, athletic settings, and consider myself to be less of a trainer and more of a coach. Fitness called to me for numerous reasons. It taught me the power of hard work and dedication and the ability to change any element of life you’re unhappy with. It saved me from a bad depression in high school and early college. it is proven to be an imperative step in preventing chronic disease (along with proper nutrition and other lifestyle habits), which is extremely important to me. I love what I do because I give people the ability to move better, live better, feel better, and life their life at a higher overall quality. I aspire one day, to reach an even greater scale of people and build a platform that lifts people up and brings people together, helping them to evolve into the best version of themself and bringing them the highest quality of life they can achieve.

Typical Training Session
A typical training session for an individual of course varies by that individuals needs. However I always incorporate cardiovascular health and improved movement patterns into my training as these are two things everyone can benefit from.
Client success story
One big win for myself and my client names Steven, was his ability to come off of many medications he was on when starting his fitness journey. To put it simply: we changed some key elements of his diet (through behavior change and education) and worked on building up his muscular endurance and cardiovascular strength. In turn, and after 3 years of consistent training and habit change, he had gotten himself to a point of health where he no longer needed any medications previously prescribed AND when he went for a stress test the doctor was extremely impressed, as even at max stress test speeds, my client maintained a strong heart rate. He’s 73 by the way. This is just one example.
