Training philosophy

My training philosophy is identifying your current level of fitness, and then setting incremental short-term goals that lead to your long-term goals.

A typical session

Sessions are enjoyable, professional, and educational. I get to know each of my clients and create programs that are customizable to their current fitness level, limitations, and goals. I provide all the necessary equipment, and the first session is always on me.

Client success story

Testimonials: I trained with Eric for 2 years while living in Chicago and I cannot say enough good things about my experience with him both as a trainer and as a person. As a trainer, Eric is attentive, respectful, timely, flexible, and as committed (probably more) as I am to achieving my goals. He is fun to work out with and the workouts never get stale because he is always educating himself on new workouts. He keeps things fresh and will always make adjustments if you are not seeing the results you want. You get the feeling that this is both his job and his passion and it shows in his approach. I appreciate his professionalism and the effort he puts in to ensuring that I always had both a positive and productive experience. Additionally, Eric’s easy going nature, friendliness, and positive attitude make him very easy to work with. The results over the past two years are undeniable. I consider Eric the best trainer I’ve worked with as well as a friend. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Now I just need to find someone as good in California! – Patrick V I’ve been working with Eric for about a year, and couldn’t be happier with my experience! Going into my initial sessions, I was someone who had no idea how to even begin a workout, and had no confidence in utilizing strength training as a work out option. In the time since I’ve gained a confidence in the gym, and with my body, that was beyond what I’d expected or really ever thought I would achieve. The consistency, and consideration of each program we’ve done has been impressive, and completely built around my specific goals, while being flexible with the needs (especially as we learned them) of my body. He’s always made sure I do enough of what I love, and more of what I hate, to make each workout impactful, challenging, and fun. Beyond that, Eric’s expertise has supported me in learning more about how muscle groups work together, which has translated to understanding how to use my body better in every day life, and how to take better care of it. Throughout all of the above, and just as importantly, Eric always shows up with awesome enthusiasm, and energy, for our sessions together, and has been impressively flexible with my frequently changing work, and life schedule week to week. My entire experience has been incredible, and I would recommend his service to anyone! – Michael M You may view additional client success stories and testimonials by viewing
