About Cristobal

I’ve been involved in sports and fitness training my entire life. I was born in Chile and started practicing karate at the age of 5. When I turned 18, I competed in the World Tournament in Japan, and from that moment on, I knew my life’s purpose was to reach the top in Mixed Martial Arts. I moved to the U.S. to pursue that dream, and every day I’m getting closer. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible coaches in both Martial Arts and physical training. This has not only shaped my own development as an athlete but also allowed me to support and train others effectively. For the past year, I’ve been working as a fitness and boxing coach at 413 Fitness, a program dedicated to people with Parkinson’s Disease. This experience has deepened my understanding of how essential it is to approach training with a focus on the nervous system, not just the muscles. Sports and physical training are my life’s passion. I truly believe I can help people improve their lives by enhancing their physical health and well-being—while also teaching practical self-defense skills in kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling!

Training philosophy

My philosophy is to make training enjoyable—challenging enough to keep it exciting, but not so hard that it becomes overwhelming. When you enjoy your training, you're more likely to stick with it. And the more consistent you are, the more results you see!

A typical session

Of course, it all depends on your goals! If your focus is Martial Arts or self-defense: We’ll start with a warm-up that includes technical drills and learning the fundamentals of effective self-defense. Then we move into real-life application drills that not only sharpen your skills but also boost your cardio and help burn excess body fat. We’ll finish by strengthening the key muscle groups used in fighting—so you’re getting stronger, faster, and more prepared. If your focus is general fitness: We’ll warm up with agility exercises tailored to your level, getting your body ready and starting the fat burn right away. Then, we’ll move into resistance training using compound movements like squats, lunges, bench press, push-ups, pull-ups, shoulder press, jump rope—you name it. We’ll wrap up with some high-intensity cardio to torch that extra fat. The goal is to build muscle while burning body fat, so you leave every session feeling stronger and leaner.
