I’m Tim Herman, a San Diego–based NASM-CPT with 3,000+ coaching hours across 1:1 and small-group training. My coaching blends strength and body-composition work with corrective exercise and mobility so you feel stronger, move better, and stay pain-resilient. I’m certified in PNOE metabolic testing (VO2/RMR) and Theragun percussive therapy, which I use to translate data into simple cardio zones, recovery strategies, and habits that fit real life. I’ve coached at CBRC Health & Fitness, The Exercise Coach, and Hardcore Fitness, working with beginners to advanced lifters and busy professionals. Expect clear programming, upbeat sessions, and steady progress you can see and feel. Current goal: help more San Diego clients build durable, confident bodies—and grow small-group programs focused on longevity and performance.

A typical training session with me will be about 60-90 minutes depending on need and action plan. We first start out by a light warm up and targeting certain imbalances before we move to the bigger core lifts to build strength. Following the workout is a cooldown and stretching session, discussing what the plan is for the next workout day plans future goals.
