Training Philosophy
Training and fitness in general I treat like a prescription to meet a goal. Clients seek my help to reach their goal, and I apply proven methods to meet those goals. Different goals require different methods, and I'm prepared for any goal!

Training Professionally Since
August 1, 2018

Typical Training Session

A client can expect to start with a warm-up, designed to heat up the body, prepare muscles and joints for the work of the sessions, and finally to generally feel better at the start of the workout. What comes next is goal-dependent. For example, an athlete trying to build power and strength might move into plyometrics, Olympic lifts, and heavy main lifts and accessory work. On the other hand, someone trying to generally get more fit and build muscle can expect a blend of resistance training and cardiovascular work, likely with shorter rest periods and higher rep schemes. Finally, someone seeking help with rehab or mobility can expect movements designed to work the damaged tissue, joints, etc. in a way that is safe yet effective in promoting better use and range of motion.

Client success story

From general populations, my client Morteza Maleki was over 330 pounds and brutally unhealthy when he started working with me. When we started, his goal was to get stronger and to lose weight, and also to generally get healthier. After 8 months of work, Morteza was down 80 pounds and his powerlifting total had increased over 300 pounds. Now, he’s preparing to step on stage to compete in Men’s Physique at a bodybuilding show.

From athletic populations, a success story close to my heart is that of Jatius Geer. While working with South Carolina Football, I had the opportunity to work with JT while he rehabbed first a high ankle sprain, then a high ankle sprain that required a surgical procedure that threatened his career. Now, he is a key contributor to one of the best defensive lines in college football, and will be a promising prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft.
