Makarios Page is a certified Speed Performance Coach and former NCAA All-American sprinter based in Los Angeles. He specializes in sprint mechanics, explosiveness, and athletic strength, helping athletes and everyday clients improve speed, mobility, and confidence.

With experience coaching at Cal Poly Pomona, St. Francis High School, and training through Speed Hawse, FitSports Kinetics, and The Academy Hybrid, Makarios combines science-based methods with motivational coaching to bring out peak performance in every client.

Client success story

When I began working with a high school sprinter struggling to drop time in the 100m, I noticed the athlete’s posture, stride frequency, and acceleration mechanics were limiting top-end speed. By implementing individualized sprint drills, plyometric progressions, and strength work focused on explosiveness, the athlete improved their 100m time by nearly half a second within eight weeks.

Beyond physical gains, I emphasized mindset and confidence—helping the athlete learn to “run relaxed” under pressure. By the end of the season, the athlete not only set a new personal record but also qualified for regional championships, crediting the experience as the moment they “finally learned how to run fast on purpose.
