About Lindsey Reese

I eat, breathe, and live fitness. It has been my passion, hobby, and livelihood for 22 years. I was a competitive swimmer at a young age into early adulthood, and this initiated my love of athleticism and the self-discipline that comes from pushing my body beyond what I ever imagined it could.

Most of my experience is helping individual clients of all ages to reach their fitness goals. I have trained individuals for amateur body building and bikini contests. I have helped ones with cognitive impairment to regain their balance and have used my expertise in postural alignment and mobility training to reduce the symptoms of sciatica, kyphosis, lordosis and other structural issues. I trained former Olympian swimmer, Keith Frostad, helping him lose 150lbs after a 10-year struggle of substance abuse and overeating. I have trained ones suffering from COPD thru diaphragmatic breathing techniques.

My background as a certified Group Fitness Instructor has enabled me to diversify my training techniques. In 2001, I started as a Group Fitness and Personal Trainer at Gold’s Gym in Long Beach, teaching cycling, Les Mills Body Pump, and circuit training. Throughout the years, I have trained persons in private gyms and studios. I currently teach Yoga, HIIT, strength training, suspension training, and cycling classes at Iconix Fitness in Long Beach. For 18 years, I taught classes at 24 Hour fitness including Les Mills Body Pump, Les Mills SPRINT, Pilates Fusion, and Yoga. I have also made a niche in the infomercial sector as the choreographer and spokeswoman for the workout DVD’s of fitness products such as Total Core and the Shake Weight.

The fitness and nutrition industry are always evolving as new findings, techniques, and more advanced ways of training are being introduced. I continue to keep up with my continuing education and the latest in health in fitness to help my clients look their best and live their best possible life.

Training Philosophy
Invest in your health NOW, or pay for your illness later. Start living your best self now!

Training Professionally Since
January 3, 2023

Typical Training Session

You can expect a solid 15-minute warmup focusing on mobility and fluidity within stretches. The warmup will be focused on the muscle groups/workout we will be focusing on that day. Next will be the program designed specifically for your goals, with a focus on correcting muscular imbalaces in order to enhance performance and reduce the risk of compensating. Whether we are lifting weights, doing balance and agility training, or performing high intensity intervals, you will sweat and your mind will be so engaged that you will forget your worries. Stretching will be administered at the end of the session which is approximately 1 hour in duration.

Client success story

I began training a 40-year old women named Kim who had never worked out regularly in a gym or with a trainer. She became very self-disciplined because she liked the results she was getting after about 3 months. She had good symmetry genetically, and I entertained her with the thought of entering a body building contest. Long story short, in just one year, she got first place in body building witin her weight group! This is someone who only formally trained for about a year. I ensured that her training and nutrition was on point and she never missed one day of sticking to her program. Anyone who wants to can transform their body!
