About Connor McElfresh

My name is Connor McElfresh. As a past athlete, I have always been passionate about exercise and fitness. I was a baseball player all of my life, until I had to have Tommy John surgery on my elbow, which ended my career. This lead to my passion in stretching, mobility, and injury prevention within the exercise realm! I love helping people who feel like they have no other choice but surgery realize that they can do the things they love again. I have helped several individuals who came to me on a cane and left months later walking on their own. Additionally, I think exercise and nutrition can solve more of our problems than we realize! My fiancé is completing her dietetic internship here in Denver, and we can’t wait to experience all of the new opportunities this city will bring us in this field.

Training Philosophy
I like to focus on strengthening the core first and working out from there. A lot of people in bodybuilding/powerlifting/general exercise neglect their core and don't realize how much they could benefit from using it properly.

Training Professionally Since

Typical Training Session

During a typical session, we will work for 30-45 minutes on strength training, balance, and mobility. The workouts are usually short–but don’t let it fool you! They pack a punch!

Client success story

I had a client at my last job, I’ll call him Steve. He came to us on a cane and could barely walk. He had been taking narcotics for pain for over thirty years and was well within the 300 lb range. After working with us for four months, he was no longer using his cane, could finally move freely and help his wife with their home, and lost enough weight to be back down into the 200s! He has become not only a client, but a friend, and we couldn’t be more excited for him.

Hobbies
Watching baseball, spending time with my fiancé and our cats, working out, going out to eat on occasion, and relaxing on the weekends!
