About Jack

Professional Summary With over two decades of experience in movement education, personal training, and wellness coaching, I bring a unique combination of advanced academic training and practical expertise. My career began in 1994 during my studies at Coker University, where I developed a foundation in kinesiology, choreography, and group instruction. After earning a double major in Dance and French as Valedictorian, I pursued a Ph.D. in Choreography and Dance at UCLA, completing the program with honors in record time. As an educator and practitioner, I’ve taught a wide range of movement disciplines, including dance techniques, fitness programming, anatomy, and group fitness. My experience spans roles as a dance professor at multiple universities, a high school dance curriculum developer, and a personal trainer certified by both NASM and ISSA. My certifications include Personal Training, Nutritionist, Exercise Therapy Specialist, Transformational Specialist, Genetics-Based Program Design, and Glute Specialist, earning me the title of Master ISSA Trainer. In 2015, I launched INTEGRE8T Wellness, offering personalized fitness and wellness coaching. I specialize in designing tailored programs for private clients, focusing on functional training, injury recovery, and holistic wellness. From 2017–2019, I served as the lead coach at Flex5 in Charlotte, NC, where I managed private client programming, taught group fitness, and mentored new trainers. This role also involved interdisciplinary collaboration with chiropractors, massage therapists, and other specialists to deliver integrated wellness solutions. My entrepreneurial ventures include developing creative, movement-based programs like The 49 Professions of Joy, an immersive group class combining movement and chakra alignment therapy, which led to a published book and oracle card sets. I also have extensive experience with performance art, having directed a modern dance company for over a decade, choreographed award-nominated productions, and performed internationally. Currently, I focus on empowering clients through customized fitness programs, whether for strength training, post-rehabilitation recovery, or achieving overall wellness goals. My ability to integrate expertise from various disciplines allows me to deliver a comprehensive approach to fitness and health. Key Skills

Client success story

I coached a woman over the course of 18 months after she was struck by a truck while walking across the street at an intersection. We had to rehabilitate her entire left side. Once she was able to work outside the care of doctors and physical therapists, I took over the implementation of the program her health providers designed. By the end of her training with me she was able to walk and use her arm without most people being able to tell she had ever been hurt.
