About Blake Sutherland


I sprinted for Michigan State NCAA division 1, and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science. I have three years of experience and most recently specialized in transformations in Port Orange Florida, training body builders and logging their diets for competition shape at Paradigm Training and Nutrition. I have worked in MSU’s human energy research lab as well as a corrective exercise specialist at Oakland Sports Chiropractic in Michigan. I have studied the movement, forces and nutrition of the human body to bring you functional and properly performed exercise routines.

Typical Training Session

A typical client can expect whatever fits their needs. Whether a client is training for power and speed in sports, hypertrophy and muscle mass, or body building, my typical approach is a full body workout containing functional movements such as squat, military press, kettle bell swings, DB/BB bench press, all deadlifts, leg Press, single leg movements such as split squat/lunges, hip thrusts/Glute bridges, step ups, banded dips/push ups/pull ups. If speed/power training, sleds, weighted planks, specialized carries, jump squats, jump lunges, band squat/bench, power clean and or jerk, rack pulls, push press and more


Client success story

Chloe was a client that came to paradigm personal training and nutrition in early August looking to get into competition shape. Since joining us, we have utilized proper strength training and nutrition logging to reduce Chloe’s body fat percentage from 25% to 18%, and continue to make strides toward competition shape.
