Why did you become a personal trainer?

I fell in love with working out and getting healthy and fit after a month long sickness that prevented me from doing anything more than a couple block walks. As soon as I could move I started running and lifting weights consistently. That was 15 years ago and I have been going strong ever since. I learned a lot about how not to go extreme and how consistency is the key and wanted to share my love and knowledge with others.

What are your favorite things about being a personal trainer?

Helping people realize what they are capable of and helping them gain a new mindset into their behaviors and goals.

If you could train one celebrity, who would it be and why? 

Ellen Degeneres because she would make the session SO fun and we could dance for half the workout 😉
If you had one workout style to describe yourself, what would it be? 
Functional.

In your mind, what is the single biggest benefit for someone to hire a personal trainer?

The education you can gain from working with that trainer is something that can stick with you forever.

What are your hobbies? 

Running, hiking, camping, SUP-ing, hanging with my kid, traveling (have lived on 3 continents, and traveled to over 20 countries).

Any guilty pleasures? 

Netflix binges, too many shows to name, but just binging on shows for a couple nights in a row.
