I am an academic and a yoga instructor. Yoga includes postures, breathing and meditation practices according to my training, from an accredited University in India. I enjoy working with healthy populations as well as special groups – children and youth, students, diabetics, and the elderly population. I believe in holistic wellness and time spent with me will hopefully enhance your body-mind nexus.
Hourly rate: $60
Session cancellation: 24 hours notice required
First session is FREE
A typical training session begins with loosening exercises, followed by yoga postures with the hope of moving every body part and limb, followed by breathing, which energizes all the parts just moved via postures. The last part of a typical practice is relaxation/meditation, which helps soak in the entire practice.
Most happy clients I have come across are stroke patients. I take them through postures and breathing practices and many have said that after prolonged practice, they can feel sensations in their not-so-functional parts. I cannot fully take credit for such successes, but I would like to think I helped in their journey.
