Why did you become a personal trainer?
I went through my own fitness journey while learning to manage my diabetes. After feeling I had been successful, I wanted to spread that knowledge and hope, learning how to design programs for individuals.

What are your favorite things about being a personal trainer?

I love being able to make connections with clients, as well as aid in their journey to better understand themselves.

If you could train one celebrity, who would it be and why?

Ellen DeGeneres. She appears to have a very happy and wise soul, and I’d love to see what kind of energy she brings to the workout.

If you had one workout style to describe yourself, what would it be?

Supersets and Circuits!

In your mind, what is the single biggest benefit for someone to hire a personal trainer?

Good foundation. Everyone has different muscle imbalances and movement patterns. It’s impossible to have a 360 degree vision of ourselves, so having someone that can point things out from that view is key.
A trainer can design a program to help with those muscle imbalances, and build a good foundation, instead of developing bad habits during exercise movements.

What are your hobbies?

Reading non-fiction, cyber-security, and non-profit work. Meditation is a big one too!

Any guilty pleasures?

Breakfast food. I love breakfast food!
